East Side Classic: Asakusa to the Skytree

The oldest temple, the kitchen street, an afternoon beer, and the tallest tower.

Duration Half day
Stops 5
Start Asakusa Station (Ginza Line)
Best for Early start, clear days, cherry blossom season along the river

The east side in one line: arrive at Senso-ji before the tour buses, drift through the kitchen town, drink a daytime hoppy with the locals, and walk the river to the Skytree. It is the most touristy route on this site, done in the least touristy order.
