Daniel's Old Neighbourhood: Yoyogi to Sasazuka
The west-side Tokyo Daniel lived in for a year, exactly as he would show a friend.
Nothing on this route is in any guidebook, which is the point. This is the Tokyo of morning coffee stands, local shrines, shotengai shopping streets, and bars where the owner remembers you. It ends at the taqueria where we had our wedding dinner.

Little Nap Coffee Stand
The neighbourhood coffee stand by Yoyogi Park's west gate. Take it across the road and walk the quiet side of the park.
