Daniel's Old Neighbourhood: Yoyogi to Sasazuka

The west-side Tokyo Daniel lived in for a year, exactly as he would show a friend.

Duration Half day into evening
Stops 5
Start Yoyogi-koen Station (Chiyoda Line)
Best for A weekday, ending with dinner and a nightcap

Nothing on this route is in any guidebook, which is the point. This is the Tokyo of morning coffee stands, local shrines, shotengai shopping streets, and bars where the owner remembers you. It ends at the taqueria where we had our wedding dinner.
