Two stops from Shibuya, an izakaya maze and Tokyo's other tram

Sangenjaya, Sancha to the people who live there, is the workaday cousin of Shimokitazawa. It's less curated and more lived-in, and it's home to one of the best izakaya mazes in the city. It sits two stops from Shibuya, has one of Tokyo's best free views, and is where the Setagaya Line tram starts.

Sangenjaya has 5 places on the Roam Tokyo map: 1 neighbourhood, 1 bar, 1 viewpoint, 1 cafe and 1 landmark. Read the Sangenjaya guide.
