The Tokiwa-so Manga Museum is a rebuilt Tokiwa-so, the two-storey apartment house in Toshima where Osamu Tezuka moved in 1953. Young manga artists followed him there, Fujiko F. Fujio, Shotaro Ishinomori and Fujio Akatsuka among them. The original came down in 1982, and the rebuilt version in Minami-Nagasaki Hanasaki Park runs exhibitions on the artists who lived there.

You take your shoes off at the door, so wear socks. Entry is free except during special exhibitions, when the whole building charges (500 yen for adults in autumn 2026). Booking a time on the website gets you in first, but you can walk in when it's quiet. Photos are allowed only in some areas. Closed on Mondays.
