The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo is the city's big public museum of contemporary art, opened in 1995 at the north end of Kiba Park, with a collection of around 5,700 works from postwar Japan and abroad. The temporary shows draw the crowds. The MOT Collection galleries show the permanent holdings for a lower fee.
